| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Very little problems with this vehicle. The power locks on the driver's side went out around 50K. As soon as it turned 73K miles, the transmission went out. Looked online at other reviews, and it seems the problem is very common with this year & make. According to the reviews, the real problem is a computer part that destroys the transmission, so replacing the transmission would not really solve the issue. I took it into the dealer who claimed he had never heard of this problem. Toyota did nothing to resolve this issue and refuses to do a recall. I ended up trading it in. | |
| General comments? | I really loved this car up until this problem. It gave me no trouble. It was very nice looking inside and out. A little slow on pickup, however braking was excellent. The cargo area was small and did not come with standard tonneau cover, so it was cheaper to have the windows tinted. The sound system is hard to beat. The doors were light and easy to open & close. I wish the rear door would open upward instead of sideward (hard to open in a tight parking spot. Excellent car for driving around town. | |
