| General comments? | I owned the Rav4 for only 15 monthes. The car was not appropriate for the size family that I have. I have three daughters and a husband. Eventhough, Toyota says that the car fits five it really fits four. The interior space of the car is small and cramped. The four cylinder engine is weak. Don't try to pass anyone on the highway unless you have loads of time. The gas milage is bad. I average around 17 miles per gallon. The design for a small car is nice and stylish. The 2001 Rav is even nicer. I couldn't take my daughters fighting about the crampness of the back seat anylonger so I recently traded the vehical in. This is the shortest time that I have ever owned a car. This is really not a true SUV. I have owned four jeeps (a CJ7 and three different Cherokees) and recently boutht a Nissan Xterra. The Jeep and Xterra are better SUV's for the money. | |
